We Love Daddy!

In preparation for Daddy being gone at AMS, we took some pictures before bed the last night he was home.

Rebekah and Aaron have made some crafts to help them understand how long daddy has been gone and when he will return. The first is a calendar where each day they write the number of days daddy has been gone (we wrote "4" on today's space). It also gives us the opportunity to write important events from the day and things they want to tell daddy from that day so we don't forget when we get to talk to him. The other craft is a chain (or snake as they are calling them) with links to rip off each day. Each link they rip represents a day closer to daddy being home again!

Since Joshua's not quite ready for crafts yet, I just show him some pictures of daddy each night and we tell him good night and I love you. It's so cute to hear him say "daddy" with a huge grin on his face.
