Easter Festivities
We started out our Easter weekend by going down to Wonderscope, a children's museum in Kansas City, with our friends the Miscavish's. We had such a fun time exploring and learning together!
James, Blade, Aaron, Rebekah, Joshua, and Jeremey playing at the water table-definitely a favorite of all the kids!
Aaron, Joshua, Blade, and Rebekah at the end of our trip. Notice both Blade & Joshua are in different clothes, thanks to the water room!
Jenni gave us these cute little treats before our trip down to KC. We enjoyed the yummy chick cake pops when we got home. They were as tasty as they were cute. Thanks, Jenni!

Saturday morning we went to the Easter Egg Hunt at church.
It had been quite rainy the previous few days, so it was wet in the grass. Everyone made a big deal about staying out of the big puddles and staying dry. Still, some parents just don't watch their kids!!
Joshua enjoying the puddles-oops, we forgot to watch him for a minute, and he headed right for them!
Not to be outdone by his little brother, Aaron and his favorite red boots got in on the wet fun!

When we got home from church, we noticed we had been egged! In a good way, of course! A mysterious bunny gave us lots of eggs filled with yummy treats to find in our yard. The kids are just amazed that we don't know who did it, so here's their thank you. . .in case you were the Easter bunny to us. They had a blast finding all the eggs-thank you!!

Apparently, we forgot to explain the difference of a goose egg and an Easter egg to Joshua. He ran into the table leg the week before Easter and got this huge goose egg on his head. Poor guy!
