Winter Wonderland
What do you do with yet another snow day?!! Get creative! Here's our family's attempts at enjoying the winter the past couple weeks.
Jeremey took all the snow from the decks and created a huge fort, complete with tunnel to climb through.

If you look close, you can see Jeremey climbing through the tunnel after Rebekah
After playing in the tunnel, we spent some time playing games. During Monopoly, Aaron started this little routine when it was his turn. It was hilarious!

This past week, the weather has been frigid and included a day of ice followed by a day of snow, followed by a day of horribly strong wind. The kids and I stayed inside for four straight days, partly due to the weather and partly due to sickness. Aaron started coughing on Monday and then running a fever and having a really runny nose (diagnosed today with a head cold and ear infection). Joshua and Rebekah started doing the same on Thursday. Sooooo. . .it was another week of trying to find ways to keep us creatively entertained.

Joshua loves to climb onto the couch when the cushion is off, which makes for a perfect reading spot for him and Rebekah
Rebekah enjoying a tea party of apple juice and star sandwiches after she and Aaron played with play-doh. What a fun morning!
After much feet dragging on my part, I finally agreed that Joshua should get another hair cut. Jeremey was more than happy to get out the clippers and start cutting away!
Before. . .
. . .After. Not a huge difference, but I'm pretty sure it emphasizes his cheeks!
