Happy Birthday!

Aaron celebrated his Golden Birthday this week, turning 3 years old on January 3. Hard to believe he's 3 already. At his 3 year well check, he was 30 lbs. 2 oz. and 39 1/2" tall. He grew 4 inches this year-whoa! What a wonderful bundle of energy we have. Running around the house and jumping off couches one minute, then giving sweet kisses and hugs the next!

We've had two celebrations for him already, and I think he's really starting to enjoy this birthday idea!

On Sunday, Grandpa and Grandma Cy stopped here on their way home, so he opened some gifts and had cake with them.

How many does it take to open a gift. . .hmmm. . .

On his birthday, we let him choose a special birthday lunch (chicken nuggets, of course!) at a restaurant, then a special birthday supper (green pancakes) at home. We had a Lightning McQueen party and watched Toy Story (his choice).
